On Thursday we had another on of those traumatic days involving our family pets. One of our cats died. Unfortunately, it was the one with a nest of 2 week old kittens. JS has "adopted" them, teaching them to drink first from a dropper and now from a bottle. All 5 are thriving.
Do the lessons children learn about the life cycle justify days like this? We're not sure. All we know is our children are getting attached to little kitties that are gonna have to go as soon as they're old enough.
