This past weekend was our annual church camping, but we switched gears this year- instead of going to a campground, we hosted everyone at our house Friday evening. We had a big campfire and games...
Richard kept a big hollow log for this occasion, which made a phenomenal chimney (until it collapsed.)
Saturday activities at the church included softball...
pumpkin painting...
yummy food...
a hayride...
(Jeremy borrowed the truck from his workplace for the hayride)
and another campfire.
I completely missed taking any pictures of the bubble tea station, which raised funds for the youth missions trip.
I guess you can call it glamping because everyone went home to their own bed and shower at the end of the day.
It took effort to make it happen, but we were repaid with many expressions of appreciation from the 75 attendees.
