Glimpses into VBS

I well remember the years we had over 100 kids for VBS. It was exhausting. Numbers declined some, then took a real hit following COVID. But this year's committee did an outstanding job and numbers are rebounding.

It's always fun to see the auditorium transformed into the VBS theme of the year

I helped Arianna with the craft station this year. She put a lot of time into it, but it was a favorite of many kids. Most of our crafts centered around the theme of the armor of God.
Knight's mask/ Helmet of Salvation
Shield of Faith
Sword of the Spirit

Another popular feature that revived this year was the skit. A shout-out to these talented teens.
Jeremy did a good job running the sound system.

And that's a wrap. For another year. VBS is a good ministry for any church to have. I enjoyed it, but it's tiring. Do kids these days have shorter attention spans and more hyperactivity OR am I just getting older and more tired??
