Giving Thanks

Some things I'm especially thankful for this season....

pretty vintage china from Grandma

cheap/free fall decor (& people who know how to decorate better than I)
 family
Have I mentioned lately how thankful I am for the man with the scar on his neck?
A cute grandchild who learned to say "turkey" recently and loves pie...
 ...and keeps us entertained.
She loves our Mrs. Potato Head but she's a little sketchy yet on anatomy- notice an ear sprouting out of the head, 2 arms on one side, upside down eyes... 🤣 👍
 A family that plays together
The older I get the more I become aware of people who don't have family nearby or don't get along with their family -so sad!
Warm winter clothes when the weather turns cold
so not ready for that yet!
Plentiful food & loved ones to share it with
♪♪Someones in the kitchen with Grandma,
someones in the kitchen I know,
Someones in the kitchen with Grandma
eating all the cookie dough! ♪♪
Being the Grammie instead of the mom -so you can laugh when little people make a mess and spill sprinkles all over the floor. 😍 My mother told me there would be days like this.
A large extended family & a home large enough to hold us all
Good cooks, who share the burden of preparing a feast
Adults who teach the next generation the importance of being generous
(packing care packages)
 Specialty coffee drinks
 Conversation
We were made for community.
Sometimes I feel lonely but when I look at snapshots like this I realize maybe I don't actually know what being lonely is.

Truly Blessed
