We might be lagging behind, but we are getting into the Christmas spirit around here.
- Decorate for Christmas- check
- Mail annual letter- check
- Bring out the Christmas music & sing along- check
- Make & decorate Christmas cookies w/ the children- check
Those latter 2 happened on Saturday. After cleaning up the mess, we headed to town to take in the light show at the courthouse. It is something to behold! There are 4 programs with different styles of music, so it takes an hour to see the whole thing. I'm posting a video clip I took of a portion of the children's program. My family will understand why I chose this particular portion. :) And for my brothers- you might appreciate the sound effects just before Jingle Bells, but I wasn't impressed. The cavalier young man saw I was filming and did it on purpose.
